The fantastic gains in torque will make acceleration a pleasure and used wisely will yield better MPG, with turbo applications the benefit can be quite significant; we’ve seen savings of up to 18% on fuel. We customise the manufacturer’s ECU software to massage boost control, fuelling, ignition timing and throttle/load control to mention just a few of the many areas needed to change on a proper ECU remap. Limiters are tweaked upon request and power curves smoothed and extended beyond other tuner’s, the difference being our tuner has real pride in the tuning, better than you will find anywhere else. This can yield increases of 80 BHP or more on some petrol and diesel turbos yet maintaining reliability.
We customise your remap to your specification – this way results are much better than using “off the shelf” products. Not every customers requirements are the same so why should the software upgrade in your car be the same? We always match remap characteristics to customer requirements where possible.
You might want the max speed limit removing for track day use, the rev range enhancing a little, you may want a smaller power increase with some extra MPG, or a true economy tune, you might need DPF removal – then that’s what you get.

We are based in Aberdeen, there you will also find a state of the art 1,200hp dyno developments Rolling Road and Remap Fitting Centre. We’ll test the car with the standard factory settings first to check the car is running properly and what actual torque and power it is making. After taking a copy of the factory calibration we then adjust it to suit the car in front of us. We can run through many versions of modified file until we are 100% happy with the results and the live diagnostic engine data. You’ll get a printout at the end, showing exactly what maximum power/torque figures have been achieved and how it is delivered.

Why Don’t Manufactures Send Cars Out At Their Best?
We get asked this quite often, the reason is that they like to sell you the SRi, GTi or XSi model. This is usually the same engine with a different map on the ECU.

Factory-installed Diesel Particulate Filters (“DPF”) and Exhaust Gas Recirculation (“EGR”) systems are designed to limit harmful vehicle emissions. When these systems get blocked or obstructed they can reduce the airflow to your vehicle, causing reduced engine function or in some cases engine failure. If you request that we remove these systems (including any associated ECU reprogramming) then by doing so you acknowledge that removal of DPF or EGR systems is illegal for vehicles on roads and public highways in the United Kingdom. A vehicle without a DPF or an EGR system will fail its MOT and you may incur legal consequences for using a vehicle on the road without these parts fitted, including fines, points on your driver’s licence or potentially jail time.
Removal of certain functions and features of a vehicle, including but not limited to DPF, EGR, lambda sensors, catalytic converters, AdBlue and vehicle fault codes are subject to local laws and regulations. We advise that all customers ensure they are aware with laws and regulations applicable to on-road vehicles in the UK before requesting any systems removal work.
